West Wind Farms will not be at the Franklin or Oak
Ridge Farmers' Markets on Saturday, September 11.
Instead, West Wind Farms' products will be available
for purchase on the farm. We will return to our
regular Saturday farmers' market schedule the
following week.

| Directions to West Wind Farms |
From Nashville:
East on I-40 to Monterey (Exit 300). Exit. Turn
left at end of exit. Follow to second traffic
light, Hwy 62. Right onto 62 East. Travel 15 miles
to Clarkrange (stop light). Continue straight
through stop light for approx 7 miles to Twin Bridge
Road on left. Turn onto Twin Bridge. Follow Twin
Bridge Road for approx 7 miles. Cross the concrete
bridge. After crossing the bridge, take the next
road on right. This road is unmarked, but is named
Reid Watson Road and has a wide entrance. After
turning onto Reid Watson, go up and over the hill,
then stay right through 2 forks in the road. This
will put you onto Shekinah Way. Shekinah Way
dead-ends at farm.
From Knoxville/Oak Ridge:
From I-40, take Oak Ridge/Pellissippi Parkway exit.
Follow Hwy 162 straight through Oak Ridge. Cross
Oak Ridge Turnpike at stop light (car dealer on
right) and continue straight on Hwy 62 West. You
will now follow Hwy 62 West nearly to Deer Lodge
-watch for highway signs because Hwy 62 West takes a
few turns along the way.
Hwy 62 West will take you through Coalfield,
Petros-Joyner, then Wartburg. At
Wartburg, Hwy 62 West will join with Hwy 27 and will
pass through Wartburg. After approx 3.4 miles, Hwy
62 West will split left from Hwy 27. Follow 62 West
through the curves to Lancing (a big concrete bridge
over railroad tracks). From Lancing, go 8 miles to
Hwy 329 North (to Deer Lodge). Exit right onto Hwy
329 N. Continue on 329 N for 1.8 miles to Twin
Bridge Road on left. This is a sharp left turn at a
small telephone co-op building. On Twin Bridge
Road, go 2 miles to Reid Watson Road on left. This
is an unmarked road with a wide entrance. (If you
cross a big concrete bridge over a creek, then you
just passed Reid Watson Road and should turn
around.) After turning onto Reid Watson, go up and
over the hill, then bear right through 2 forks in
the road. This will put you onto Shekinah Way.
Shekinah Way dead-ends at farm.
From Chattanooga:
Follow Hwy 27 North through Rockwood and Harriman to
Wartburg. At Wartburg, Hwy 62 West will join with
Hwy 27 and will pass through Wartburg. After approx
3.4 miles, Hwy 62 West will split left from Hwy 27.
Follow Hwy 62 West through the curves to Lancing (a

| GUIDELINES |
- No pets please, even if you plan to leave them in
the car.
- Wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes that you
don't
mind getting dirty.
- Wear sunscreen and a personal insect repellant
for maximum comfort.
- Children MUST be supervised by their parent or
guardian.
- Due to logistical constraints, persons arriving
after the tour begins at 9:30 am Eastern time will
have to wait at the posters display until the tour is
completed.
- If you plan to purchase meats or poultry at the
farm, please bring an insulated cooler to keep your
product fresh. A very limited quantity of ice will be
available at the farm, but ice is also available at
local
markets.

Whoopee! It's time again for West Wind Farms'
Annual Customer Appreciation Day! We had a great
time last year, and we're planning another fun-filled
day of events this year. Come enjoy a day on the
farm and see where your food comes from. We'll be
offering informative demonstrations, a tour of the
